Dr Christine E. Bruckner, Former President, AIA Hong Kong; Principal, CEBruckner Architect and Sustainability Consultant, has over 20 years’ experience practicing in the US, Europe, Japan and Hong Kong, and holds degrees in Architecture and Engineering from Rice University (B.A; B.Arch.); Yale University (M.Arch); Tokyo University (M.S., Ph.D). Christine continues to bring her design focus on sustainability and the public realm to the forefront.

Presentation Outline 演講大綱

Dr Bruckner will share a perspective on Lighting in Design. Beginning with an overview of the formative role that light plays in the design of places for people, Dr Bruckner will then explore the essential yet intangible impact of lighting design on human experience with reference to its role in architectural design as exemplified through diverse historic and global examples.
